Nepal sees 662 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 662 new cases of coronavirus while 758 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 535 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 127 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 192 cases in Kathmandu, 23 in Bhaktapur and 35 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 250 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 13 infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 11,318.
