"UML intends to serve the country, not stick to power”

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Oli has claimed that his party can topple the government within a week if need be.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu Wednesday, Oli said that he can form a government within a week by toppling the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.

“We can overthrow the government within seven days,” Oli said adding, “However, we are not going to do it now because we intend to serve the country, not to stick to power.”

Oli also alleged Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party, Madhav Kumar Nepal for betraying his own party by bowing down before NC President Deuba.
