Nepal receives over 18.85 mln doses of COVID-19 vaccine so far



KATHMANDU: The Nepal government has received 18, 858,710 doses of COVID-19 vaccine so far.

According to the statistics maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population, of the total doses of COVID-19 vaccine obtained, 15,048,288 doses have administered to the eligible people.

Dr Samir Adhikari, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry, over 15 million people have been inoculated against COVID-19 pandemic.

Of them, 8,562,365 have received the first doses while 6,485,923 have received the second doses of vaccines.

There are 3,810,422 doses of vaccines are in store. They will be administered once the festive season is over, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
