Six members of a family missing after landslide buries their house in Humla



HUMLA: Six people have gone missing in a landslide that occurred in Kharpunath-5, Kharpel in Humla district.

The rain-triggered landslide fell on the house of Dhanbire Shahi on Tuesday night. According to District Police Office, Humla, Dhanbire, Kal Bahadur Shahi, Asha Shahi and her three sons (aged 11, 5 and 3) have been buried in the landslide.

Six members of a family went missing after the landslide buried their house last night, said Harka Shahi, a local.

DSP Herambha Sharma of DPO, Humla said they are deploying a team of police to the incident site.
