Nepal sees 1,095 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 396 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,095 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 975 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 120 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 298 persons in Kathmandu, 35 in Lalitpur, and 63 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 396 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 8 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,957 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
