NEPSE down by 114.02 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 114.02 points.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2698.24 points.

A total of 17.33 million shares of 225 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 8.49 billion.

The life insurance group has declined the most by 800 points today.

Since then, the non-life insurance group has declined by 614 points and the development bank group by 332 points.

Similarly, hydropower fell by 220 points, hotel and tourism by 158 points, and finance by 229 points. Even though the overall market fell by more than 100 points, the shareholders of Manakamana Smart MFI have earned the most today.

Today, Manakamana’s shareholders have earned Rs 89 per share.

In addition, the share prices of seven companies today have a negative circuit. Similarly, the share prices of 25 other companies have declined by more than 9 percent.
