KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Deputy Parliamentary Party leader Subas Nembang said Speaker Sapkota has called the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) at 11 am without consulting the ruling alliance.

“I had heard that the ruling coalition leaders in the all-party meeting had suggested Speaker Sapkota to conduct House meeting by taking the UML into confidence but he has not consulted the UML,” said Nembang.

According to Nembang, an uncomfortable situation has been created in the HoR due to the modus operandi of the Speaker Sapkota.

UML has been disrupting the HoR saying that Sapkota did not publish the notice regarding its punishment against CPN (Unified Socialist) leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal.

The Appropriation Bill was tabled by the Speaker amidst protests by the Opposition. Nembang further said that the protest will continue even today.
