HoR meeting taking place today

UML likely to disrupt

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.

The meeting will take place at the Federal Parliament in New Baneshwor at 11 am, according to Parliament Secretariat.

The Parliament Secretariat has already made public the possible agenda items for today’s meeting.

According to agenda items, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma will table the Appropriation Bill for endorsement in the meeting.

However, the meeting is unlikely to proceed since the main opposition CPN-UML has been disrupting the parliament.

Meanwhile, ruling coalition parties have issued a whip to all the lawmakers to be present in the House meeting saying that the budget will be tabled for endorsement.

An HoR meeting had taken place on September 14.
