KATHMANDU: Yadav Chandra Sharma is appointed as the Chief of Bagmati Province.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari Friday appointed Sharma as the governor in Bagmati Province on the recommendation of the cabinet. The cabinet recommended him for the post Thursday.
Earlier, she removed Bishnu Prasad Prasai from the post of governor in the province.
Newly-appointed Governor Sharma is close to leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and was personal secretary to the leader for long.
