Govt administering first doze of Vero Cell to +2 and college students from today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal government is administering first dose of coronavirus vaccine to students above 18 years of age in Kathmandu from today.

According to the Health Office, Kathmandu, the first dose of Vero Cell vaccine will be given to the students studying in class 11 and 12 and those who have received admission cards of the university level examination.

The vaccine will be made available today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 am to 5 am at the vaccination centers and in the wards designated by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).

Students will be able to get vaccinated at Armed Police Hospital-Balambu, Birendra Sainik Hospital-Camp, Radhaswami Isolation Center-Samakhusi, Nepal Police Hospital-Maharajgunj.

Similarly, students can also receive vaccinations at Bir Hospital, Ratna Park, Civil Hospital, Baneshwor, Paropakar Maternity & Women’s Hospital, Thapathali, Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, according to the Health Office.
