Prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley to be relaxed



KATHMANDU: Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu Valley are holding a meeting on Sunday to discuss the modality of the prohibitory orders and take a necessary decision.

The district administration offices of the Kathmandu Valley are likely to extend the prohibitory orders, with some relaxation.

According to CDO Dhundi Prasad Niraula, of Lalitpur, CDOs of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts are holding a meeting this afternoon.

He added that the prohibitory order is likely to be extended by a week with some relaxation as the number of coronavirus cases is declining gradually.

Grocery shops and departmental stores are currently allowed to operate until 11 am.

The current prohibitory order is ending on Monday at midnight.
