TAR Government-donated medical supplies on way to Khasa



KATHMANDU: The government of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China has donated emergency medical supplies to Nepal.

The liquid oxygen, oxygen cylinders, concentrators among other emergency medical supplies were donated to Nepal aimed at supporting a neighbor in this critical hour worst-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Office of the Consulate General Lhasa, 30 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen among other medical supplies was on the way to Kathmandu from Lhasa.

These supplies will reach Khasa by Friday night. Similarly, the Tibetan government had promised to send 200 sets of ICU beds, five-set ventilators, and 10 set oxygen concentrators.
