Govt reappoints Dr Kadel as Vice Chairman of NPC



KATHMANDU: The government has reappointed Dr Pushparaj Kadel as Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held last Monday appointed the NPC members including Vice Chairman Kadel.

Krishnaprasad Oli, Dr. Usha Jha and Min Bahadur Shahi have been appointed as per the formation order of the Commission.

After being re-appointed, he took the oath before the Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Planning Commission KP Oli at Singha Durbar on Thursday.

After taking an oath, the Vice-Chairman assumed office by presenting the file of the decision to approve the multi-year projects of eleven smart cities in the National Planning Commission.
