WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 33,799,771 in the United States of America after 27,611 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,899,623 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 27,298,220 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 601,928 with 615 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,430,987 and infected 165,534,994 globally until the filing of this news.
