Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 3,102 with 11 new fatalities



KATHMANDU: As many as 11 COVID-19 patients have reportedly succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll to 3,102 as of Tuesday afternoon.

Out of 11 reported toll cases, three have died in past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 1,736 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,667 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 69 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 550 persons in Kathmandu, 105 in Lalitpur, and 35 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, as of Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, 251 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.

Similarly, the ministry shared that 11 more fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3,102.
