KATHMANDU: Nepal is batting against the Netherlands in the third match of the Tri-Nation Twenty20 Series underway at TU Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal has made 45 runs losing one wicket in the last five overs.
Nepal will secure its berth in the final if it wins the Netherlands in today’s match.
The top two teams out of Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands participating in the series are allowed to play the finals under the double round-robin format.
Earlier, Nepal had defeated the Netherlands on Saturday and Malaysia on Monday with equal nine wickets.
In the inaugural match held on Saturday, Nepal had achieved a 137-run target set by the Netherlands in 15 overs, losing just one wicket.
The government has disallowed people to form crowds in view of the rising cases of coronavirus in the country.
Hence, there are no audiences on the parapet of the cricket stadium while the match is underway between the two teams.
