COVID-19: India records new 256,947 infections, 1757 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 256,947 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 15,314,714.

Currently, 2,030,944 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 13,103,220 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 180,500-mark.

With 1,757 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 180,550, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
