KATHMANDU: Lawmaker Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel formerly active in the CPN-UML’s disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction has joined Prime Minister and party Chairman KP Oli’s camp from Saturday’s Parliamentary Party meeting held in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

According to Baluwatar sources, lawmaker Pokhrel has self-criticized for joining Nepal-Khanal faction of the party and promised to work as per PM Oli’s vision.

“I tried to convince the leaders not to lead the cadres astray; but in vain. Hence, I have come to work for PM Oli and his dreams to lead the country ahead,”  he said after attending the PP meeting called at PM Oli’s residence on Saturday.
