BIRATNAGAR: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa “Badal” has come down heavily on some internal and external elements that are conspiring to create political instability to fulfill their vested interests.

Speaking at a rally organized by the Prime Minister KP Oli faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Biratnagar, Home Minister Thapa said people have realized how these “power-hungry elements” have been trying to push the country towards catastrophe.

“These selfish and opportunist elements have been trying to create obstructions everywhere,” he said saying that several leaders of the dissident faction have started coming back to the party.

Home Minister Thapa dismissed rumors that some ministers were joining the Prachanda-Nepal faction, which he said were “untrue”.

“This is a ploy on the part of the opportunists and the dissident faction of the NCP to create confusion among the people,” he added.

He said people are united for stability, and to safeguard democracy terming the dissolution of the House of Representatives an attempt to “defeat regressive forces inciting instability”.

Home Minister Thapa also said reactionaries, factionists, and power-greedy people within the party have led to political instability.

“Your Goebbel-attitude will be washed away soon. This will ruin your future and political career,” he warned comparing the Prachanda-Nepal faction with Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany Goebbel.

He also termed the dissolution of HoR as “historical and revolutionary move” to lead the country ahead on the way toward stability, peace and prosperity.

He also warned all corrupts and dons of taking action against all illegal activities in the country.

Home Minister Thapa also claimed of brining the outlawed Biplav faction, without naming, of bringing it to mainstream politics.
