Kathmandu Valley sees 145 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 145 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 116 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 3 in Bhaktapur, and 26 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 318 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,68,310 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,693 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 383 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,62,642 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 6 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,975.
