Youth burnt to death in Rupandehi



BUTWAL: A 35-year-old man was burnt to death in Marchawar, Rupandehi district.

According to DSP Satya Narayan Thapa, a youth has been burnt to death in Marchabar of the district on Wednesday.

Preliminary reports show that the youth could have been burnt to death by spraying kerosene on his body.

The body was found in a field on the bank of Danav River in Gargatti village of Mayadevi Municipality-7.

DSP Thapa said that blood stains and plastic pipes are found at the spot and the investigation has been initiated.

“The police has initiated investigation by bringing a trained dog from Nepalgunj as the culprit involved in the incident could not be identified easily,” DSP Thapa informed about the investigation initiated by the police.
