America’s COVID-19 cases cross 24.7 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 24,797,695 in the United States of America after 162,518 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,615,962 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 14,770,372 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 411,361 with 2,643 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,063,803 and infected 96,586,748 globally until the filing of this news.
