1,000 schools likely to remain closed for good



KATHMANDU: Around 1,000 schools are likely to be closed due to COVID -19 across the country.

According to Chairman of Private and Boarding Schools Organization Nepal (PABSON) Tikaram Puri, around 1,000 schools, mostly in the Kathmandu Valley, with a few number of students are likely to remain closed for good.

They had remained closed due to COVID-19 and were not associated with the PABSON, according to Puri.

They had been closed for 10 months due to the pandemic and were not able to pay their building rent due to COVID-19.
