NC Gen Secy Sharma meets party’s influential leader Sitaula



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress’ (NC) newly elected General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has met party’s influential leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula by reaching the latter’s residence in Kathmandu, Sunday.

According to the Sitaula’s Secretariat, Sitaula congratulated and blessed Sharma on his election to the post of NC general secretary.

Sitaula had nominated Pradeep Poudel from his panel for the post of general secretary. But he was defeated.

Sharma and Gagan Thapa were elected general secretaries after defeating their rivals, including Situala-backed Poudel, Dr Minendra Rijal and Prakash Sharan Mahat.
