Four including driver killed in Rolpa bus accident

ROLPA: Four people including the driver died and 19 others sustained injuries after a bus met with an accident at Madi Rural Municipality-4 Tarkebang in Rolpa district on Thursday evening.

The bus (Na 3 Kha 5518) en route to Thawang of Rolpa from Ghorahi of Dang district fell some 200 metres off the road killing three men and a woman, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)Naresh Raj Subedi said that .

The deceased persons are Bir Man Budha, 40, Kumar Pun, 50, and Dipak Roka, 29, of Paribartan Rural Municipality, the police said. However, identity of the deceased woman is not ascertained so far.

Four people had also died near Ghartigaun of Madi Rural Municipality in the district in a road mishap occurred last week.
