KATHMANDU: A person has died in a motorcycle accident at Maitighar Mandala in the capital.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Roman Mallikar of Kavre district, according to police.
Mallikar sustained critical injuries when the motorcycle, Pradesh 02-024 Pa 6771, that he was riding pillion met with an accident near zebra crossing at Maitighar Mandala on Thursday night.
Mallikar who was rushed to Neuro Hospital died in the course of treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the biker under control.
