40-year-old man dies in flood in Udayapur



UDAYPUR: A 40-year-old man has died after being swept away by the Koriya River in Triyuga Municipality-5, Lalpata of Udayapur district due to continuous rains since Tuesday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, the deceased has been identified as Tuk Bahadur Khadka, 40, of Udayapur.

Khadka was swept away by the river while trying to cross it. The police team and locals found Khadka dead in the river at around 6.30 pm.
