JSP leaders demand Constitution amendment



RAJBIRAJ: Leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) have demanded that the Constitution be amended at the earliest.

Speaking at an interaction program entitled ‘Why should the Constitution be amended’ organized by JSP Saptari district chapter, JSP leaders said that the constitution is incomplete and discriminatory, hence, needs amendment.

The speakers sought amendments on the provisions relating to language, form of government, inclusion, citizenship, demarcation, judiciary among many others.

JSP Executive Committee Member and National Assembly Member Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Executive Member and Minister for Social Development of Province 2 Nawal Kishor Sah, Executive Member and Province Assembly Member Manish Kumar Suman and others univocally stressed on the need to amend the constitution and make it universally acceptable.
