UML distributes Statute Convention-related proposals among SC members



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has provided Standing Committee (SC) members with the proposals related to the upcoming Statute Convention.

The party’s proposed organizational, political and other documents were distributed at the SC meeting held at the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation building in Chasal, Lalitpur, Sunday, said UML Publicity Department Chief Yogesh Bhattarai.

Some SC members gave their views regarding proposals on Statute Convention at the meeting Sunday. He said the proposal would be passed after rest of the SC members present their suggestions the next day.

Bhattarai said the SC meeting would resume at 1 pm Monday. The party is set to hold the Statute General Convention from October 1 to 3.
