NEPSE decreases by 18.24 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 18.24 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

A total of 30.91 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 20.49 billion.

The shares of the Hydropower Group, which has increased sharply in recent days, have declined by 123 points today.

Similarly, shares of the banking group declined by 19.5 points, development bank by 162 points, hotel by 30 points, finance by 73 points, and manufacturing group by 19 points.

Shares of insurance, microfinance, others, and business groups increased today.

Shares of Khanikhola Hydro, Ngadi Group of Power, and HIDCL decreased by10 percent today.

Despite the decline in the overall market, the share of life development microfinance has increased by 10 percent.

Shares of Jeevan Vikas Microfinance have been rising at a rate of 10 percent for 16 consecutive days.
