KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,445 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,642 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 803 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 330 persons in Kathmandu, 56 in Lalitpur, and 88 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 474 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 32 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,258 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
