Baglung collects over Rs 6.7 million in fine from vehicles in previous FY



BAGLUNG: Twelve thousand one hundred vehicles faced action in the fiscal year, 2020/21 for violating traffic rules. Over Rs 6.7 million in fine was collected from the vehicles, said the District Traffic Police Office.

Of the vehicles that faced action, cars and jeeps dominate. Likewise, more than Rs 2.3 million has been collected from 3,868 motorcycles that faced action.

Violation of traffic rules went rampant in the district, said Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Badri Nath Sharma. “We are at work to curb road accidents and control violation of traffic rules,” he said.
