KATHMANDU: As many as 20 cattle have burned to death in Saptari on Friday.

A fire spread due to short-circuit at Krishnaram Multipurpose Agro Farm in Agnisaira Krishnasavaran Rural Municipality of the district, said police.

The agro farm had a total of 60 cows. Of them, 20 were charred to death, 10 are injured and 30 are missing, according to the agro farm.

The incident has caused damage of Rs 5 million to the farm.
