Pradip Nepal shows himself in Prachanda-Nepal faction



KATHMANDU: Central Committee Member (CCM) of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Minister Pradip Nepal has shown himself in the Prachanda-Nepal faction on Friday.

According to Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP, leader Nepal went to the Perisdanda-based party office of the Prachanda-Nepal faction and handed over his citizenship certificate to be produced before the Election Commission.

The Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP had asked its central committee members to submit their citizenship to claim the party’s legitimacy in the Election Commission.

According to the faction, 290 out of 441 membered NCP’s Central Committee are on its side.

Earlier, today’s emergency meeting of the party had decided to face any situation that may arise.

Ram Kumari Jhankri, a youth leader of the faction confirmed the news and added that PM Oli faction’s claim that leader Pradip Nepal was with him have been proved false.
