Nepali student Bhattarai found dead in USA



TEXAS: Pramod Bhattarai, a 23-year-old Nepali student living in Houston, Texas, has been found dead at his own apartment.

Bhattarai, who had gone to bed after partying with some of his friends on Monday night, was found dead on Tuesday morning.

The cause of death could not be ascertained as the postmortem report has not been received.

Preparations have been made to send his body to Nepal after receiving the report.

A fundraising campaign has been launched on behalf of the Jhapali Society of Texas for his funeral.

Bhattarai, who was from Budhabare, Jhapa, went to the USA five years ago, was a computer science student. Texas is a home to many Nepali students.
