Three die as microbus, motorcycle collide head-on in Sunsari



BIRATNAGAR: Three persons were killed when a microbus and a motorcycle collided on the Duhabi-Inaruwa road in Sunsari district.

According to the Province Traffic Police Office, Itahari, three persons were killed when a microbus (Province 1-02-001 Ja 3868) heading towards Inaruwa from Duhabi and a motorcycle (Ko 34 Pa 4694) heading towards Duhabi collided on the road at Duhabi Municipality-10 on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Birkh Mandal, 44, of Inaruwa-3, Sunsari, and Shankar Yadav, 22, of Rajbiraj-1, Saptari. The identity of the other deceased has not been disclosed.

Ten people have sustained minor injuries in the accident and are undergoing treatment at the local Jeevan Jyoti Medical College.
