Three names recommended for Vice Chancellor of KU

KATHMANDU: A three-member panel formed under the coordination of Education Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha has recommended three names for the post of Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Kathmandu University (KU).

According to the Ministry of Education,  the panel recommended names of Dr. Ramkantha Makaju, Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa and Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel for the post of VC.

“The selection committee has recommended the names and one of them will be chosen through due process,” said an official at the Ministry of Education.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education had called for applications from qualified candidates for the vacant post through an open competition.
