Septuagenarian man dies of COVID-19 in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ: A COVID-19 infected person staying in a home isolation in Nepalgunj has died.

According to District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, a 70-year-old man from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan-10, Bhrikutinagar died on Saturday night.

He was diagonosed with COVID-19 on December 10. The elderly had been brought to Bheri Hospital on December 11 after his oxygen level was found to be low.

After his health improved during the treatment in Bheri, he was taken to home isolation again on December 13.

With this, the number of deaths due to coronavirus in Banke has reached 50. There are still 61 people living in home isolation in the district. There are 31 patients in Bheri Hospital.
