Four killed, six injured in Rolpa bus accident



ROLPA: Four people died on the spot in a bus accident in Rolpa on Thursday evening.

Four people, including three men and a woman, were killed on the spot.

Rolpa Police Chief DSP Naresh Raj Subedi said that the deceased are yet to be identified.

According to him, six others injured were rescued and taken to Sunil Memorial Hospital, Gharti village.

The bus (Na 3 Kha 5518) heading towards Rolpa’s Thawang from Ghorahi of Dang fell into the Madi River about 100 meters below the road at around 6:30 pm on Thursday.

A bus fell into the Madi River at Jaljala of Madi Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 under Saheed Marg.

A total of 10 passengers were traveling on the bus.
