Lack of secretaries hit regular works in Province 2 govt

KATHMANDU: Official works have been affected in the absence of secretaries in most of the ministries in the government of Pradesh 2.

There have been no secretaries for months due to which the day-to-day official works have been hampered.

Currently, four ministries including the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers have been devoid of secretaries.
The meeting of the cabinet has not taken place for a long time due to the lack of secretaries.

Secretary M Bhusal has been transferred to Kathmandu after being implicated in the procurement of cycles under the campaign ‘Educate Daughters, Save Daughters’. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) took action against him.
