Govt sacks NSC Member Secretary Silwal



KATHMANDU: The government has sacked Member Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC) Ramesh Silwal.

A cabinet meeting held Monday decided to initiate the process to sack Silwal.

Silwal had been appointed NSC Member Secretary for the first time on July 8, 2019. Then, Silwal had to resign from the post within a year due to the National Sports Act 2020 but was later re-appointed by the KP Oli-led government on July 27, 2020.
