Cabinet to be expanded after September 20: Maoist Chair Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the cabinet will be expanded after September 20.

Addressing a program in Janakpurdham Saturday, Prachanda said that there is no problem in expanding the cabinet and it will be done after September 20. “There are no differences or problems in the coalition. The cabinet will be expanded now,” he said.

Prachanda said the issue of amending the constitution would be initiated to address the dissatisfaction of all sides. “When I was the prime minister, I proposed to amend the constitution twice,” said Prachanda, adding, “but the proposal did not move ahead because of KP Oli. Now we will take up the issue again.”
