NC to hold ward convention in Kathmandu on Sept 21



KATHMANDU: The ward convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) in Kathmandu is scheduled to be held on September 21.

A meeting of the Kathmandu District Committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) on Friday decided to start the ward convention on September 21.

The NC Kathmandu President Sabuj Bania has informed that the ward convention will be held as the party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) has finalized the active membership and sent it to the district.

There are 10 federal constituencies and 20 province constituencies in Kathmandu. There are 138 wards in Kathmandu with 11 local units including Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

In Kathmandu, the NC has more than 30,000 active members.
