Six UML lawmakers from Oli faction vote for PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Six CPN-UML members of the House of Representatives close to party Chairman KP Oli gave vote of confidence to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.

Lawmakers including Prem Ale, Kisan Shrestha, Dhan Bahadur Budha, Gopal Bam, Hira KC and Parbati Bisunkhe gave vote of confidence to Prime Minister Deuba.

Likewise, proportional lawmaker of the party, Samina Hussain also gave vote of confidence to Prime Minister Deuba.

Although the UML had decided not to give vote of confidence to Prime Minister Deuba, the members crossed the floor and voted for Deuba.

Likewise, some lawmakers from the Madhav Nepal faction walked out of the hall while some voted in favor of the confidence motion.
