UML senior leader Khanal urges lawmakers to vote for PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal has urged party lawmakers to vote in favor of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.

Senior leader Khanal, who is currently in India for treatment, has asked his party and other lawmakers to give a vote of confidence to the Deuba-led government to ensure government stability in the country.

Issuing a statement on Sunday, Khanal said, “Let’s give a vote of confidence to the Deuba government.”

Khanal has, however, reiterated the need for party unity saying, “Let’s also try to make the party unity intact. Even if that doesn’t happen, let’s have an inter-party ideological debate.”
