Revenue of over Rs 80 million collected

BIRATNAGAR: The Inland Revenue Office, Biratnagar has collected a total of Rs. 8.93 billion in the fiscal year 2077/78.

The office had set a target of collecting Rs 8.84 billion in the same period.

The office has managed to collect 89.154 million more revenue than the target.

According to the information, the income tax collected in the fiscal year 2077/78 is Rs. 3 billion.

During the same period, the office has achieved 130 percent annual progress in income tax, 157 percent in value added tax and 64 percent in excise duty.
