KATHMANDU: Sirijanga rural municipality has announced scholarship to the students in the village willing to study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
The ninth village assembly of the rural municipality held on Thursday decided to bear the expenses of those willing to study MBBS.
The rural municipality will bear expenses of a student who gets through the entrance test for the degree of MBBS in a year, according to decision.
The student who receives scholarship for MBBS has to serve at least for two years in the health office of the rural municipality.
