MORANG: A person has died after being attacked by a wild elephant at Harchangadi in Sunbarshi municipality-8 in Morang district.
The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Manohar Miya of Kudeli at 6 am on Friday morning.
Miya, who was out for taking a photograph of the elephant, was attacked by the elephant.
Critically injured Miya died in the course of treatment at Biratnagar Neuro Hospital, informed Anamol Khadka of Area Police Office, Rangeli.
According to Khadka, the wild elephant had entered Sikti area of Rangeli-5 via Amgachhi from India.
