Three arrested with one quintal of marijuana



MAKWANPUR: Police have arrested three persons from Makwanpur along with a truck carrying 100 kg of marijuana.

According to the police, three persons were arrested on Monday morning along with a quintal of cannabis from a truck bearing registration number Na 2 Kha 9862.

According to District Police Office, Makwanpur Chief SP Somendra Singh Rathore, the arrested are Aite Bahadur Thapamagar, 49, of Kavre Mahabharat Municipality-5, Rajkumar Tamang, 41, of Makwanpur Bhimphedi Municipality-9 and Suvin Rumba, 36, of Kailash Municipality-10.

Rathore said that they are in police custody in connection with the drug case.
