KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader and party’s Central Disciplinary Commission Chief Amrit Kumar Bohora has urged Prime Minister and party Chairman KP Oli to postpone the meeting of the General Convention (GC) Organizing Committee scheduled for Monday.

Issuing a notice on behalf of the Commission, leader Bohora drew attention of both factions to show patience in the critical hours of misunderstanding in the party and urged PM Oli faction to postpone the meeting of GC Organizing Committee.

Earlier, UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, who is close to Oli, had prepared an agenda for the meeting and sent an invitation to the Central Committee (CC) members.

“No decision should be made on the basis of excitement, impulse and pride,” Bohora said in a letter entitled “Special Attention to Unite the Party,” adding, “Decisions should be made with restraint, patience and understanding in the party.”
